Welcome to My North Louisiana Arts, a blog that was inspired by the artists and gallery owners of Ruston, La. As a writer by trade and an artist at heart, I felt compelled to lend a hand to the promotion of the arts in the area where I grew up, a place I'm beginning to appreciate more every day.

This blog will focus on artists and their original work, gallery owners, events and more-- all within the north Louisiana region. If there is one thing I have learned from interviewing plenty of artists through my line of work, it is that they are complex, diverse and interesting enough on their own to make this blog an alluring read.
